The ACCW provides many different services here at St. Matthew Catholic Community. This past year they have... made & sold Pies For Priests which enabled ACCW to make and serve dinner to our local deanery of Priests and Deacons and their wives; helped the March 4 Life event by providing soup & crackers after their frigid walk to Planned Parenthood; prepared the meals for the virtual Archdiocesan Beauty in Christ Retreat and provided wonderful door prizes. There will be many more opportunities that ACCW will be assisting or facilitating in the near future!  Keep watching this page and the bulletin to see what's in store for this group of women next!

Dear Ladies,

Are you a “Woman of Great Faith”? We warmly invite all women to join us here at St. Matthew for the 2025 Archdiocesan Women’s Conference, Beauty in Christ: Women of the Word!

When: Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: St. Matthew Catholic Church

This inspiring day will feature dynamic speakers Kathryn Whitaker and Barbara Heil, who will spark a deeper desire in all of us to become “Women of the Word.” Connect with women across the archdiocese, strengthen your faith, and be inspired by God’s Word.

At St. Matthew, we will provide a light breakfast and lunch. Because we want as many women as possible to join us, there is no charge for the event, but donations are always appreciated.

The Hair of Bethany

“She has done what she could: -Mark 14:8

There is a beautiful scene painted for us in in Mark 14:3-9 and elaborated on in John 12:1-8. While Jesus was in Bethany before His crucifixion, Mary, the sister of Lazarus, uses her hair to anoint His feet with expensive oils.

This woman did not simply follow Jesus or wait to someone to tell her what to do, but took it upon herself to care for Him directly. She is our wonderful example.

This year we will care for Him directly by bringing comfort to His priests, ministers and outcast children.
